Abstract
Hepatitis B vaccine, KGCG92-3, derived from Chinese hamster ovary(CHO) cell was evaluated for antigenicity through Active Systemic Anaphylaxis(ASA) in guinea pig and Passive Cutaneous Anaphylaxis(PCA) in rat.
In the study of ASA of guniea pig, KGCC-92-3 did not induce any significant symptoms relating anaphylatic shock and was almost asymptomic at both level of low dose and high dose. Also in the study of PCA of rat using anti-guinea pig serum to KGCC-92-3 at both level of low dose and high dose, KGCC-92-3 did not induce blue coloring reaction reflecting specific antibody IgE which generally has been accepted that it takes part in type j hypersensitivity reacting strongly in human.
Therefore, it was observed that KGCC-92-3 would cause no effects on anaphylatic shock.
